Welcome to C++ World

The C++ World Homepage needed a refit. We have done our part and we are interested to learn how you like it.

Com++ is on SourceForge.net now. Please visit Com++ 1.3 for details.
The C++ - World appears in lighter colors and shows a more open aspect now. We believe that the new design is also more convenient to look at. The C++ World focuses on C++ Programming on Unix - plattforms like Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, etc. This means certainly quality software engineering and an elegant web page underlines this.
We are growing. Over the course of the last six months we had on average more than 5000 visitors on our pages per month. We are delighted about that and motivated to improve further.
Com++ 1.0 is released. Com++ is a socket programming and system programming library written in C++.
It is free software and everybody who wishes to use it is encouraged to download and use it. Please report any defect or suggestion to us. We are commited to improve the quality and depend on your feedback.
The library has undergone lots of testing from our side as well as from other people so we hear from feedback given to us. Com++ 1.1 has reached a good level of stability now and is used in many applications all over the world. We heard from people using it in small and not so small application projects and in programming classes and workshops. Some people just read the source code to find out how socket programming can be facitlitated - at least you can learn the C++ - Worlds approach.
