Personal Details
I was born in St.Poelten - Austria in the year 1969. I lived and worked in Austria till the year 2000. Before I left, I worked in R&D and in Telecommunications as a software engineer. In 1994 I founded Linux User Group Austria one of the first Linux User Groups.
Since the year 2000 I worked in Switzerland, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Hungary and Germany as a freelancer/contractor mainly being involved in Telecommunications projects in Telco-, Banking-, Automotive- and Defense business.
Currently I live in Purkersdorf/Austria with my wife Martina. Martina is also the webmaster of the C++ World and my homepage.
